Simone Biles just made history … again. And again. The 22-year-old performed a double-double dismount off the beam at the U.S. Gymnastics Championship in Kansas City, Missouri — the first gymnast to do so. And then, her floor routine included a triple-twisting double-flip — a move that has never been landed in competition. On her first try, she failed. On the final night, she landed the history-making move.
But Biles is not the only gymnast gunning for the gold. With the Tokyo Olympics around the corner, our favorites are preparing for the biggest career moment of their lives. Here are the top three American gymnasts on the 2019 all-around scoreboard — and our Instagram feeds:

It is not too ambitious to say Biles is one of the most decorated female gymnasts in American history. After all, in the U.S. Gymnastics Championship, she finished first place in the all-around with a lead of 4.95 points and the highest points on a balance beam, floor and vault. But do you know what is actually inspiring? That even with kidney stones and other rare blunders and falls, she has overcome and won a medal in every event. Biles is a role model for young women everywhere: Her bravery is unsurmountable, standing up for herself and all victims of sexual assault. Follow her for a feed filled with positivity and gravity-defying moves.

An Olympic-game-only gymnastic fan may not know her name, but 16-year-old Lee came in second in the all-around at the U.S. Gymnastics Championship. She is a good follow if you are into success stories with a bigger arch. Lee made the junior national team in 2017, and she has solidified her chance at joining Biles on the five-woman world championship team when it is selected next month. Her coaches and peers regard her as outstanding on bars and beams, and her Insta is full of her flipping routines and combinations at the gym, as well team photos touting how much the members all support one another. For the 2021-2022 school year, she is committed to the Auburn Tigers women’s gymnastics in Alabama, but in the meantime, she trains in Minnesota.

The 16-year-old continues to impress. She is a two-time member of the U.S. National Team and joins Biles and Lee in the winner’s podium — she placed third in the all-around this past weekend. McCallum (who was part of the team that won gold at World Championships last year) is known for her elegant lines and clean routines, which also translate to her Instagram feed, where she posts about her travels — she has been to Doha, Qatar, Waikiki and more — and her fierce performances. McCallum is sure to surge in popularity in the months leading up to the Olympics, so consider yourself ahead of the game by adding her to your follow list.
