As someone who struggles with acne, I will do whatever it takes for clear skin. I make it a point to use a new washcloth each morning, wipe my phone down with rubbing alcohol and properly clean my makeup brushes. I bought a silk pillowcase — it is known to be great for both your skin and hair – and called it a day.
But washing silk is an extensive process so — do not judge — I wash it every other week. And end up silencing my inner dialogue that says, “You go the extra mile to make sure you cleanse your face and apply your oil each night, yet your gorgeous face is lying on dirt, oil and product residue for eight hours (if you are lucky).”
And then, I stumbled upon Déjà, aka The Best Acne Pillowcase. Immediately, I knew I had to have it.

〰️ Behind the Scenes with déjà, part four: what inspired the name déjà? 〰️⠀ ⠀ Our founder @seyskye says:⠀ ⠀ "As you might have guessed, the name déjà came from déjà vu, that sort of strange and intuitive experience that I used to get all the time. It’s the odd and unexpected feeling that sparks a memory of a place you’ve already visited, a person you’ve already encountered, or an act you’ve already done.⠀ ⠀ The word 'déjà' alone means 'again' in French—and I thought that the idea of experiencing déjà vu (an almost dream-like state of mind) and the feeling of familiar repetition spoke to the essence of what déjà skincare is all about: envisioning and forming routines, by day and by night."⠀ ⠀ What other routines do you love to do daily? ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #dejapillowcase #getdeja #dejayou #makegoodhabitseasy #pillowcase #pillowcases #littlethingsinlife #whatmakesmehappy #thislittlemoment_ #lovethelittlethings #acnetreatment #skincaretips #acnecommunity #acneproneskin #skincarenatural #skincareforall #naturalskincare #cottonpillow #sleepislife #clearskindays #beautysleep #beautyrest #hygienetips #cleansheets #cleansheet #lesslaundry #moremetime #lightandshadows #minimalizm ⠀

The pillowcase has eight different “pages,” which means you flip to a fresh sheet each night.
And, it is machine washable — for that reason alone I am in.
I know it is hard to break up with your silk pillowcase, but do not fear. The website claims that a silk version is in the works. And I will be dreaming about it on my 100-percent-cotton version ($44) until that day comes.
There are products that you buy that end up wasting away at the back of your beauty shelf, and then there are items that easily become a staple in your routine. This is a staple.
