Here’s What Celebrities and Influencers Are Saying About Sunday Riley

Authored by Grace Gallagher

Celebrities have access to the newest beauty treatments (vampire facials and LED beds, anyone?), and the best dermatologists and estheticians are at their fingertips. Yet still, when a celeb drops their beauty routine, people listen. You may not be able to travel with your dermatologist or shell out thousands of dollars for treatments, but you can recreate a bit of what the ultra-famous are having when it comes to their skincare product choices, which, as we love to see, often includes Sunday Riley.

Read on to find out which Sunday Riley products celebrities, influencers, and even Oprah use and love.

Oprah: Ceramic Slip and Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment

“I love the way my face feels after a wash in Ceramic Slip. This is my go-to beauty regimen,” said Oprah, who also shared it in her 2018 list of favorite things. It’s nice to see her getting a little help from our product, Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment.

Ceramic Slip is made using a blend of four plant-based soaps, plus French green clay, bentonite, and kaolin to help draw impurities from the skin while leaving skin hydrated and smooth. It’s gentle enough for everyday use, and if Oprah loves it, you probably will too.

Phoebe Miu: Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment and C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum

A post shared by Phoebe Miu (@phoebemiu)

Phoebe Miu, who plays Jessica in Riverdale, a CW drama based on the Archie comics, told Glamour that she “mainly uses” products from Sunday Riley and Youth To The People. “They are killing it, and it’s important for me to stick to cruelty-free brands,” she told the magazine.

More specifically, Miu uses Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment and Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum. She says, “Vitamin C adds to the radiance and gives your skin a boost. It’s like sunshine for your face.” This is especially true of the brightening vitamin C serum because it utilizes THD Ascorbate, which is more potent than standard ascorbic acid (what’s found in many vitamin C products); it’s also more stable and won’t oxidize, meaning it won’t turn a rusty color or start to smell off when used during its shelf life.

“I feel like Sunday Riley Good Genes makes my pores look smaller and makes me feel and look more refreshed. It makes me look super moisturized and glowy and plump in the morning. I use it every other night in the summer since the skin is more sensitive to the sun when you’re using lactic acid, but I’m very diligent about it in the wintertime,” she adds.

Bella Valeris from The Bachelor Australia recently told WHO Australia that her skin is oily in the T-zone and normal-to-dry elsewhere (relatable). To help her combination skin thrive, she uses Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream, when, as she says, her skin needs a “massive boost of hydration.”

“It is so thick and beautiful. It is just so hydrating and thick, and it’s just so luxurious, and it smells amazing too,” she told WHO. ICE is formulated with ceramides to help lock moisture into the skin, plus vitamin F, beetroot extract, coconut, red algae extract, and more, all of which help address dehydration and keep skin looking plump and hydrated.

Famous Drag Queen and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3, Trixie Mattel uploaded a YouTube video of her skincare and makeup routine for days when she’s not in drag. As you may expect from heavy stage makeup, she describes her skin as “wrecked.”

“I’m obsessed with the C.E.O. Glow from Sunday Riley,” she says in the video. “I love Sunday Riley, you guys. Some of the most beautiful, potent skincare products. Like, they just work. A lot of times, I’ll use it in lieu of moisturizer.”

She also notes that using a light oil often leaves her skin less oily than a moisturizer. C.E.O. Glow Oil uses a blend of vitamin C and turmeric to add radiance to the skin, plus other light but deeply moisturizing botanical oils like cranberry seed, pomegranate seed, and evening primrose.

In addition to using a super affordable under-eye mask from Amazon (stars, they’re just like us), Paris Hilton told Glamour that she uses Luna Sleeping Night Oil and C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum.

Luna is a lightweight nighttime oil containing retinol to help improve the skin’s texture and soften fine lines and wrinkles. It uses blue tansy and German chamomile essential oils, calming ingredients that help soothe redness and sensitivity. As Paris would say, that’s hot.

In the video, after cleansing, applying an exfoliating mask, and a niacinamide serum, Whitney can be seen dropping four drops of U.F.O. oil on her skin, then gently rubbing it in and following with SPF.

It is formulated with a blend of salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and black cumin seed oil to support clear skin, soothing chamomile, and neroli, plus milk thistle and cucumber seed oil for hydration, U.F.O. helps to calm blemishes and keep them from popping up in the first place.

Sean Garrette: Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream

A post shared by SEAN GARRETTE (@seangarrette)

Sean Garrette is an esthetician known for his Black skincare content creation and whose even, dewy complexion gives new meaning to the words “glass skin.” He recently made a video for Harper’s Bazaar “Go To Bed With Me” series, in which he shows how he uses Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream.

He admits that there was a time when he didn’t see the need for eye cream, but since entering his 30s, he’s become “an eye cream fanatic.” His favorite? Yes, you guessed it; Auto Correct.

“It’s not super heavy, which I really love,” he says. “You literally just need the tiniest bit,” he says while patting the cream all around his eye area, including on the brow bone.

Auto Correct is a bestseller for a reason; it’s packed with caffeine and Brazilian ginseng root extract to depuff and brighten, horse chestnut and acmella oleracea extract to help lift and smooth fine lines, and moisturizing butters to leave the delicate area hydrated and glowy.
