Healthify Your Drinking With These 3 Cocktail Recipes

On New Year’s Day, everyone collectively nurses their champagne hangovers from the sparkle-filled night before. “I never want to feel this way again” echoes through the streets and alas, Dry January was born.

But what if you do not want to quit drinking cold turkey? What if you want to toast to your friend’s recent engagement or pair your veganchilada with a skinny margarita? Here at the Sunday Edit, we want to help you indulge better, so we came up with three drink recipes for you that flaunt tasty staple liquor alternatives — and fruit — front and center, so you don’t have to feel too bad about the so-called “empty calories.” Think about swapping your sugary sodas for fresh fruit juice or ditching the alcohol in favor of a tasty mocktail. “Drink smarter, not harder,” no one ever says (but should start to).
